LD Thompson

LD Thompson is an author, filmmaker and inspirational speaker. His first book, The Message: A Guide To Being Human, has been translated into German as has the follow up: Fields of Plenty: A Guide to Your Inner Wisdom. Fields of Plenty which won a coveted Nautilus Award reveals the Soul's view of abundance. His writing also appears in the anthology A Fuller View: Buckminster Fuller's Vision of Hope and Abundance for All. His third book, THE POWER OF THE CHAKRAS: A Workbook for Higher Consciousness, is a comprehensive guide to unlocking the transformative energy available to us all. You can also find his contributions in Huffington Post and IntentBlog. He balances his time between the San Juan Islands in Washington State and Europe.

LD was born in Indiana and educated at Indiana University and Alaska Pacific University. In his twenties, the appearance of a mystical stranger dramatically signaled the beginning of a profound spiritual journey. As a result, he dedicated his life to deepening the transformation that he experienced in that meeting, and to integrating the knowledge and the wisdom imparted. LD travels the globe working with individuals, groups, and corporations as a teacher, advisor and counselor.

LD’s body of work includes a large catalog of recorded programs on a wide array of topics and two meditation CDs: Coming Home and There is an Ocean. He currently reaches a worldwide audience in regular teleconferences that are coordinated through his website (ldthompson.com).

In addition to his work as a teacher and counselor, LD is an award-winning documentary filmmaker and video producer. He has served on the Boards of ECO Canada, Higher Ground for Humanity, and as Co-founder of The LGBT Sanctuary Palm Springs.
