Who's the NOOI in your life?

As I began to write my book, The Lumenary: An I Am Soul Searching Revelation, I didn't want to give my ex any importance. As much as he was the catalyst to my self-discovery and self-love, he was also the perpetrator of a heap load of dung in my life...grief, depression, suicidal thoughts, anguish and unworthiness.
So, I came up with a name for him, the Vadeorc and the NOOI. The Vadeorc is the character that appears in our path rooted in karmic wounding and shadow work as a call to ignite the God spark within...the Lumenary or Lumenero. They are the remembrance of this essence, the remembrance of the void. They appear as the villain in our lives accepting the soul contract to awaken the Lumenary within through distortion, darkness, feeding off of the Lumen, until they crack and supernova.
But not every shadow figure carries a soul contract. Some are simply empty noise. The NOOI is that person that doesn't deserve our energy, attention, or life force. They are the naysayers, the thank-you-but-no-thank-you non-players. They think the world revolves around them. They are the false actors that show empathy or compassion through words but not actions. The ones that extend a hand only to receive but not reciprocate. They are the ones that impress the masses while in public but in private reveal the ruthless, monstrous void...the unhealed inner child who now must punish anyone that outshines them, anyone that mirrors their reflection, anyone that can see through the mask, and expose who they truly are. They are the NOOI...no one of importance.
Spot them. Name them. Release them. Your light is too rare to waste on a NOOI.
